At Cloverdale Travel, some of the most meaningful parts of a journey are the people we meet and the connections we make along the way. Our former team members are an important part of our story, and we're excited to catch up with Mike Cartin and hear about his time at Cloverdale and what he's doing today.
Looking back on his experience, Mike had many kind words to share. "My time at Cloverdale Travel will always be unmatched. The journeys I've participated in live rent-free in my heart and soul."
For Mike, traveling with Cloverdale meant experiencing things he never could have imagined. He explained that the stories he still tells today bring him back to some of the most sacred and amazing places in the world, while reminding him of the strong relationships he built with people from different communities.
What made those experiences so special was the care behind them. As Mike put it, "Cloverdale provided experiences most people will never encounter not only through service but through thoughtful care and experience." It's a sentiment that captures what we strive to offer every pilgrim who travels with us.
Today, Mike is working as a Food and Beverage Manager at Hudson National Golf Club in upstate New York. While the job keeps him busy with long hours, he shared that he really enjoys the work. The club sits at the top of a hill, with an outdoor terrace offering what he describes as one of the best views he has ever seen.
Although Mike has moved into a different chapter of his career, it's clear that his time at Cloverdale remains something he looks back on fondly. We're grateful he took the time to share a little about his journey with us.
Mike closed his message by wishing everyone at Cloverdale well and expressing that he looks forward to hearing from the team in the future. From all of us at Cloverdale Travel, we wish Mike continued success at Hudson National Golf Club and hope to stay in touch!
